In addition to teaching video production part-time* at The Center for Advanced Learning, I have been busy working on some side projects and have participated in a few productions. The kind people who I work with can vouch for my work ethic and skills.

* There is rarely such thing as a part-time high school teacher. My observation is that excellent full-time teachers are 1.5 FTE or more and excellent part-time teachers are 1.0 FTE or more.

I have loved to read and write ever since I was a little girl. I self-published hits such as The Pegasus Adventure and The Land of the Animals. As a teenager, I was a newspaper geek who loved to get the truth behind high school gossip for The Phoenix. Then in college, I continued my quest for truth, justice and the American way as Editor in Chief of The Wittenberg Torch.

After college, I spent 8 years in print/web publishing and marketing/advertising before deciding to become a teacher. Now that I teach “part-time” (FYI, there is no such thing as a part-time teacher), I have time to write for you. I worked in various fields of publishing for eight years before becoming a high school teacher (yes, by choice).

I am currently employed but can pick up freelance projects here and there. I am for hire in these areas: teaching, copywriting, editorial, marketing, blogging, social media, video production, and basic design.
